Ladies please let me know if you’ve tried this before… I’ve tried Estée Lauder (love), Dior (don’t), creme de la mer (don’t), la prairie (don’t). Any info much appreciated!

I've tried the rich cream. It was nice but not amazing.

Offredismysister · 07/08/2021 20:56

I’ve tried the rich cream, it’s far to heavy & greasy for me.

Florabelle · 07/08/2021 21:07

Voice of dissent here, I’m on 2nd purchase of the rich cream and genuinely think it’s softened my under eye lines? I bought the cream though for summer daytime as the rich cream for me is great in winter or at night.

Ooh might give it a go! The texture of my skin is quite coarse so hoping will help, thank you posters :)

I'm a bit cynical about the excessive marketing on FB. Bobbi Brown's comment about ditching the foundation since she used AB doesn't ring true. I'm 100% positive she wouldn't be saying that if she hadn't sold out to Estee Lauder.

BlackSwan · 09/08/2021 07:22

I like it. The rich cream is great & have repurchased a few times.

Annoyingly you're meant to use it as the first thing on your face though. So not meant to use a serum first or anything. Also there's no sunscreen in it, so you have to use that on top, which can be a bit too rich.

I bought the body cream on a discount also but I wouldn't buy it again - no discernible benefits...

So, mixed feelings but on balance I'll keep going with the rich cream for my face.

Interesting! Got to say some of the expensive creams had absolutely no effect for me but I suppose we’re all different (same as with foundations). Eg la prairie was just rubbish, absolutely nothing about it was any use (and it had sparkly bits in?! Such bull). A Chanel one likewise rubbish, Dior too. Wondering if I should just be drinking lots of water and considering injectables eek!

I like it - it does feel heavy going on but used at night it works really well and my skin is incredibly soft by morning. You can get trial sizes - I went onto their website and got two 30ml sample bottles free. If you sign up they will start offering you discounts.

I had a trial size of The Rich Cream and really liked it, so I coughed up to buy the full size one. I have oily but sensitive skin so I use it as night cream (I use Dr Sebagh or Haeckels as day cream) and I love how much better my skin looks and feels. Expensive yes, but I think it's worth it.

LaBrujaPiruja · 10/08/2021 10:27

I got two (the rich cream) in advent calendars last year and am using it at night, last step of my ‘ritual’ but mixed with Sunday Riley’s Luna oil. On its own it is too much, at least for me. I like it but would not buy it again.

Dr Jackson’s is better.
