Hi , im attending a wedding & have bought a body con dress the trouble is I have a bit of a tum
I’ve looked at the M&S website for knickers that will pull me in a bit but they seem to have bad reviews . Can anyone recommend some shaping VPL knickers that don’t cost too much please

I find the ones that cover the top of your thighs are best for a body con dress. Don't be tempted to go a size too low to hold you in more as they will just bulge at the top and bottom (I know from experience) The right size won't always make you smaller but will definitely improve your silhouette. I tried loads of new ones on recently but none were as effective as my old M&S ones which are like these.

Mumski 45 Thankyou for your reply , I bet they would do the trick but if the wind blew the wrong way I’d be wearing long Johns 😊

I know you asked out knickers but have you considered a control slip such as this?

M&S offer several, some like this one, where you can wear your own bra, or no bra at all if it suits you/the dress. Others have a built in bra.

I think you will find it does the trick, is more comfy than “Bridget's”and gives you a better line. Also no Long John risk!

They are also available in Next, but l’ve never tried those.

I second the thigh slimmers as all others I have tried just squeeze it all to the top of your thighs 😁 Who are these people who need tummy control pants but have skinny hips ?
