Did I do right cutting my hair..

I used to have lovely long thick hair but thanks to postpartum and stress it got thinner and thinner. I just got it cut without thinking about it and now I regret it. It does feel thicker but I'm pregnant at the moment so I'm scared I'm going to end up with short thin hair once baby is born! This is before and after.

It looks really nice. Definitely looks thicker and not massively shorter. I know you’ve taken some inches off, but it still looks long rather than mid length.

TooWicked · 06/08/2021 16:14

That looks loads better and thicker having got rid of those wispy ends, it really doesn’t look that much shorter either.

WovenFish · 06/08/2021 16:14

It’s uniform in length too which I think will help it to look less thin, when postpartum hair loss kicks in, than it would have with your hair as you had it in picture one.

Greenmarmalade · 06/08/2021 16:14

Looks much better after your haircut.

GrandmaSteglitszch · 06/08/2021 16:15

Yes.
It looks a lot better.

MarianneUnfaithful · 06/08/2021 16:15

It looks much better now.

GolfForBrains · 06/08/2021 16:18

That's not short, and it looks much nicer now.

DoodleBelle · 06/08/2021 16:19

Looks much better now and still lovely and long

DariaMorgendorffer · 06/08/2021 16:20

It looks great. Still nice and long, but looks healthier.

Is this a stealth boast? it looks miles better!! Grin

Jerseygirl12 · 06/08/2021 17:03

Your new hair cut looks fab.

PickAChew · 06/08/2021 17:06

It's hardly short and does look so much better.

lindyloo57 · 06/08/2021 17:35

It looks much better, have you lighted it too?

ReviewingTheSituation · 06/08/2021 17:42

It looks lovely, and is very much still 'long' hair. Short hair is jaw length and above in my book!

Birkie248 · 06/08/2021 17:44

Yes and the ends definitely did need to go. It looks much healthier and thicker now.

RuthTopp · 06/08/2021 17:47

It looks lovely, much healthier.

humptyspartyhat · 07/08/2021 18:01

Thank you all. No I promise it's not a boast! I'll show you what I mean. First pic is when it was lovely and thick, second is when it was still long but getting thinner and the last 2 are now. I used to have a fringe but it's too thin for that now Sad was anyone else's hair never the same after having a baby? I'm just absolutely dreading what it's going to be like after having this baby I'm going to have no hair left!

Mine has always been thinner since children, and highlights made it break off, so I wouldn't carry on lightening it.

humptyspartyhat · 09/08/2021 22:58

Thank you all x
