Eyelid surgery.. Cheshire.

I'm considering upper eyelid surgery as I have really hooded eyes, and I constantly look tired. I've tried botox, but it doesn't help. Has anyone had this procedure and can you tell me a bit of what to expect.. Eg, the downtime, bruising etc etc. I don't want people to know so I'd have to go into hiding! Also, does anyone have any recommendations for surgeons in Cheshire /Manchester? Thanks so much in advance x

My Mum had it done a few years ago. Her GP actually recommended the surgeon and she was happy with the results. They looked much better afterwards.

I'm not sure about bruising but from memory it was about a week but a lot depends on you and how easily you bruise. I'd look like I'd gone a round with Mike Tyson if I had it done as I am very pale and bruise badly.
