Short fat bridesmaids dress

My friend is getting married in a few weeks and has asked me to be maid of honour. It's a low key wedding - registry office followed by fancy restaurant, a dozen guests and the bride is wearing a gorgeous blue bridesmaid style/prom dress.

She has given me free rein over my own outfit but I want to do her proud - I've been burying my head in the sand till now. I'm a size 18, only 5'4" with small bust, broad shoulders. I can wear small heals. Would like to spend less than £100 unless it's spectacular! Would love if it's a recommendation of somewhere I can visit rather than order online but of course online is fine.

Any suggestions of where to look?

Way more practical if slightly less special looking. Might be a good compromise though - I don't exactly go to a lot of balls...

@puglovesbooks omg apologies I didn't realise my original post with a pic didn't upload! I recently wore a maya embellished midaxi dress (pink) as a maid of honour dress, I got it from next and it was £90. I'm 4ft11 and can sometimes wear a 16 and sometimes wear an 18 so short and fat! I did upload a pic of the dress from next but the bigger sizes were sold out and I mentioned you can buy it from a few different sites in silver and blue. I'll attach a link now instead of trying to upload the screenshot again!! The first is the one I wore, second link is it in blue. If you look on that maya site there is loads of different options xx

For size reference the next petite midaxi one I got away with wearing a 16 and I'm 13st9 which is a lot for 4ft11 if you can find the midaxi in blue petite it might be a good option
