mini straighteners

Hello!
I have a pixie cut and am struggling a bit trying to curl with my regular ghd straighteners.
I'm wondering if mini/travel straighteners would work better? I've tried a wand but the curl frizzed and looked awful. I think I need a straightener to smooth as it goes rather than tongs/wand.
Any recommendations please? I've used ghd for years but have seen recommendations for cloud nine after ghd were bought by someone else and quality isn't as good anymore.
Thanks for your recommendations!

I had the same problem with my GHD’s. I bought some called Revamp from Boots which have a much smaller plate. They were quite expensive but are cordless and rechargeable so perfect for travelling as well.

Have you found that the smaller plate gives a better curl?

I use them to give a bit of height at the crown and also straighten my fringe which has an annoying kink in it. My hair is only about 2.5 inches long but they work well on it.

That's similar length to mine then sonskund like they will work! Have you ever used ghds? If so, do you find the Revamp as good? I'm worried I'll buy something that isn't as hot.
Sorry for all the questions!

No worries. I’ve got GHDs as well which were great when my hair was longer, not so much on short hair. The Revamps have 3 heat settings - 160, 180 and 210 if that helps.

That's great thank you! Grin
