My daughters graduation ceremony is next month and I’m clueless as to what I am going to wear? What do guests generally wear to these events?

I posted for mine last month and feedback from here was wedding guest minus hat / fascinator.
Some men wore suits, down to smart shirts with chinos. Women were wearing dresses so relatively smart.
I wore a floaty wrap dress which was spot on. However I totally underestimated the amount of walking so if you think you'll be doing the same take a second pair for trotting around. Afterwards we went for lunch and saw loads of dressed up families and some clever mums had swapped shoes for something more comfy. I had to buy a new pair!

Thanks that really useful I think a dress I wore for a christening last year will fit the bill. And good shout about the shoes. Thanks both
