Dress for wedding and christening?

I’m looking for a dress that can wear to a wedding evening do this month and a christening in September. Any ideas?

I already have this which is lovely on www.johnlewis.com/hush-iohna-floral-maxi-dress-poppies/p4215307 but think it’s probably too casual for the wedding and too summery for the christening.

I’ve also got www.marksandspencer.com/animal-print-midaxi-shirt-dress/p/clp60506574?color=PINKMIX&prevPage=srp which may do for the christening depending on the weather?

I was hoping for one new dress to cover both occasions? What do you think of?

Like the last one. Dressy enough for the wedding and christening

I think the Hush dress is fine for the evening do; guests only going to the evening don't need to dress as formally as day guests.
I don't like think the Phase 8 dress and think it looks looks dated. The FC one is ok, but prefer the M and S one.

I really like the Love & Roses dress and had already looked at that myself.

I love the French Connection one and Love & Roses one.

Either/or.

Love that phase eight one - might have to buy one! I’m not as keen on the last pink floral one but others all look lovely if perhaps a bit dark for wedding?

These two are the nicest by far.

I think the Hush dress is beautiful and would be perfect styled with gold or bronze accessories for both.

I’ve ordered the Lipsy dress and the Love and Roses one and will report back when they arrive.

The Love and Roses dress is lovely, very flattering. I’m going to keep that.

The Lipsy one actually looked a bit matronly on me but the fabric was lovely. That will be going back.
