Hair up or down

Daughter getting married next week.
If you have a fat face, and a double chin, is it best for shoulder length hair to be up or down?
Have to let the hairdresser know, before the day.
What do you recomend please?

It would help if you could give us some idea of what you are wearing.
Also will you be wearing a hat or a fascinator as that can make a difference. I am also MOB in October and my dress is off the shoulder so was planning to wear hair up with a fascinator. I have now fallen in love with a big hat and any iPod will be hidden completely so having to rethink.

Weather forecast? I hate hair with hairspray on with my hair down when it is hot and I am hot! ! All yuck on my neck..

Down and lots of volume!
