Has anyone got this swimsuit and either can recommend it or say don't buy it!!
I'm quite big busted but they are also a bit wonky! So need a proper support or I look like my knees are making friends with my boobs!

I have one, I'm small busted and i wouldn't say it's particularly roomy in the top. However I have happily worn it out and about with shorts while on holiday and felt it had adequate support

Justkeeprollingalong · 03/08/2021 13:07

I'm 5ft 5 size 14 with 36E boobs and find a 16 long fits really well with plenty of support. I wear it as strapless and only use the ties if actually swimming.

@justkeeprollingalong thank you x so would you say that its best to size up x

For me yes. Why not get your usual size and the next one up. It's usually free returns over £50 I think.

PeacheyPeach · 03/08/2021 14:42

@justkeeprollingalong yes may have to do this, trying to save ££ but I just keep seeing things I need/ want 😃

Best swimsuit I've ever owned. But definitely size up.

I’ve got a Boden tankini, although I don’t think it’s the Santorini. I’m normally a 10 on top, and the 12 is snug. Definitely size up.

Best costume I've ever owned, I have several now

Justkeeprollingalong · 03/08/2021 18:53

@afrikat my grown up girls think it hilarious that I call a swimsuit a 'costume'!

PippaRose · 03/08/2021 20:09

I have 2 love them, definitely supportive. Good to size up

afrikat · 03/08/2021 21:13

@justkeeprollingalong I can't help it 🤣

What do you mean by big busted. I dont think boden swimsuits are naturally cut for boobs bigger than about a dd or e cup maybe, but it depends how much cleavage you want to show and how much support you actually need if the band/back is looser than ideal.
Shame because they always have such tempting designs, but its very much trial and error with non-cup-sized swimwear.

I think sometimes if the swimsuit has removable padding it can be made to work a bit better, but if the cups are fixed, its a no-no.

Also another tip for bigger cups on the cheap is to buy a bikini that ties up at the back rather than has a clasp, as then can buy a much bigger size and then just tie the band how you like it. i bought some bikini tops in last years sale for about £3 in a size 20 even though im more of a 14, but they give me great coverage and can just tie it tighter. You could even wear that under a plainer tankini top

PeacheyPeach · 04/08/2021 23:36

@branleuse Im a DD but they are in need of good support! Thanks for the great idea about the bekini tops though. Hadn't thought about that. Xxx
