Leggings or an alternative

I'm looking for some high waisted leggings, preferably with a wide (ish) waistband that aren't see through.

I have a pair from M&S that I love (www.marksandspencer.com/high-waist-leggings/p/clp60183268?color=BLACK&prevPage=srp#intid=prodColourId-60183266) , but they are too thin.

I have tried numerous pairs in a quest for comfy leggings that don't show off my underwear and it's mostly been a lost cause. The thicker they get the less comfy they are. I know I could try sports ones but I find them too shiny for every day wear.

Any recommendations are welcome, although I don't want to spend crazy money. Or if you have an alternative to leggings that would be great too!

I had some from Sainsbury’s which were good quailty.

Also Mint Velvet (although they didn’t stand up to repeated wearing and washing all that well)

I keep meaning to try 'Love Leggings'. They're forever popping up on my social media ads and seem to have really good reviews for not being see through etc. I'm pregnant at the moment though so having a bit of an internal battle over whether to continue squeezing into my old worn out ones or buy new that might soon be the wrong size 😬

Jodie ponte leggings from White Stuff are amazing. Super thick but super soft and comfortable though I do have to size down. Worth every penny.

I brought some from Morrisons, really nice fit and not see through!! they wash well and they were only £8 a pair!!

Seasalt

Love leggings with the high waist. Thick and well made - initially they bobble a bit on my fat inner thighs but actually it doesn’t get worse and the fabric is good quality.

The Gym + Coffee leggings are lovely..soft, comfortable and nice colours but a bit pricey.

I had some lovely topshop leggings a few years back but whether they would be as lovely now they are owned by asos I don't know
