I've dropped ds2 off at school (long story but I drop him now after an incident:()
Picked mums meds up from pharmacy, sent e consult form to Dr's for mum as she's not well, assembled new table at mums, come home, 2 loads of washing on, cup of tea, now off to do some excel tutorials prior to next week 😬
Then need to drop ds1 into university (well, he drives in), take mum to Dr's at 4.30 then I might sit down and relax 😀
Ds1 has a reading week next week so no mum taxi service 😀

SOTD is Maison Lancome Figues and Agrumes. I got a sample in the Perfume Society summer box and love it so ordered a full bottle.

I've ordered some chantilly perfume from ebay :)
AND my 4160 tuesdays orders are arriving tomorrow!
I've had a crappy day and I'm going to read the first chapter of nigel slaters Xmas chronicles and drink tea 🫖 ☕

I'm another one reading the Christmas Chronicles. Nigel Slater writes so evocatively & beautifully about Winter - I'm still on the introduction.

Thank you @Opal8 and @Judystilldreamsofhorses. The feverishness seems to be receding, thank goodness - I'm just lethargic now, and my voice seems to be hiding somewhere out of reach. I've so much to do today, but I only want to go back to bed! 🤧

Because I am a 🐑, I have just downloaded a sample of The Christmas Chronicles from kindle, and it looks so good I will probably buy the rest of the book. I love anything about winter - my favourite season - or Christmas!🎄☃️❄️🎁🎅

That's a lovely perfume package @Opal. I really want to smell Oakmossery. Could you do me a big favour & describe it at some point 💐 I'm desperate for a try & they have no samples yet. The smallest bottle is £40.

I don't know why but I thought it would be heavier/darker?
I wish I knew how to decant I could send you some!

To my nose it has a similarity to AKBTF if you know that one?
Something in the base notes I think...

Hello all. I've been very absent, partly due to life and partly because my smell still hasn't fully returned. Getting there though.

I need to replace my shay and blue salt caramel (the cooler months mean I get to smell like pudding again!) and thought I might throw something else in to get free shipping - any shay and blue recommendations?

Thsnk you @Opal. I've just read @MissBattleaxe's Oakmossery review. I would love to know where in the scheme of bitterness it fits in. I really enjoy Chypres and some bitterness but not too much. My favourite older Chypre is Apercu!

It's not too austere or bitter imo And no florals that I can detect which is a good thing from my pov :)

that’s the only S&B I have too, but I think the orange one is lovely - maybe more summery though? Do they do any candles or body stuff in the same flavour rather than take a punt on something?
