I have over the last few years been really trying to get my wardrobe down to good quality staples like a decent wool coat 🧥 black and brown fitted blazers good quality boots that I’ve had for 5 years etc. I’m struggling with long sleeved tops roll necks and t shirts. I have a t shirt from Philipa k that a friend left at mine when I was 15 it’s still going strong until I managed to dye it pink and I’m now 27 but at new they cost like 65-110 pounds which quilty wise seems worth it looking at how good the old one is but does anyone have any suggestions for something better than m and s but not quite 110

My current favourite for unfussy, well made (in the UK) and I think fairly priced men's and women's basics is Community Clothing although I'm not sure if they do roll necks.

I always used to recommend Toast for T shirts too but I've heard they're not as good quality these days. (That's always the problem with recommending good basics - by definition they last for years and by the time they need replacing, the quality of the brand can have tanked.)

Uniqlo
M&S

I was just about to start a thread along similar lines!
I’ve just ordered some t-shirts and long sleeved tops from Boden - all sale items, they have loads of really good reductions at the moment.
I haven’t ordered from there before (it’s too pricey for me) and they haven’t arrived yet, but I’ve heard good things about them.

Baukjen is good for basics - better still in the sales

Baukjen are good for basic tops. I also recently bought a t-shirt from Saint and Sofia that is excellent quality and we'll cut.

Second the Uniqlo ones

Baukjen and White Company - their basics range is really good
