Skin + Me - 5 months in and still spotty WTF?

I'm 45, combination skin with black heads, one or two smallish spots and the occasional deep under the skin sore whopper.

I've been on skin + me for 5 months - loving the better texture and reduced black heads, no deep sore spots for months BUT!
I am still getting small surface level spots popping up on my temples and forehead everyday. They have very minimal swelling.
Looked at the FAQ's which mention "purging" spots for a couple of months, but can these still be that?

Do I just keep going or give up and admit that it just doesn't work for me?

Do you know what treatments you’re using?

I haven’t used Skin + Me but I have a Differin prescription and when I first went on it it did take 12 weeks for it to start working and my skin was horrendous before it got better. If I hadn’t been told beforehand I would have given up.

However, 5 months does seem like long enough for it to start working properly. Have you contacted them?

I would just email them and ask to discuss it OP, I've always found them very responsive and helpful.

Perhaps the prescription amounts or types could do with adjusting but equally nothing is guaranteed to work. It sounds like there have been improvements in your skin over the 5 months so that's a positive. Perhaps just needs tinkering.

Presumably your prescription hasn't been the same the whole time? Usually they start on a 6 month plan which builds up a tolerance towards 'stronger' acid %'s or ingredients like tretinoin.

Contacted them and going to move from Clindamycin to Niacinamide on the next one
I do like the ease of the doser and the increasing tret % each month so will give it a bit longer as I want it to work!
