Bb cream/light foundation for acne prone skin

Currently using a bb cream from boots as I have scarring that I need some light coverage day to day for, however I’m finding I’m getting more and more blackheads across my cheeks, nose and chin.
Using the effaclar range and have prescribed cream from the GP.
Any recommendations for a BB cream or a light foundation that won’t clog my pores (or break the bank!)

Sorry I mean I think it’s the current bb cream that’s causing the blackheads as my skincare routine is otherwise fine (on weekends when I don’t wear make up I don’t get new blackheads)

DD has similar issues with foundations ( even super expensive ones ) causing spots/ cosmetic acne. Clinique even better glow seems to be suiting her at the moment and the spots are healing. It's light glowy coverage for her skin & acne scars. Plus it contains salicylic acid, so doesn't block pores.

isnt la roche posey very good for sensitive skin an acne

Clinique even better glow also works well for me.

I really like estee lauder double wear light but it's not cheap.
I also really like No7 foundation drops. You literally just add a drop to whatever moisturiser or suncream you want and it gives surprisingly good coverage. I mix it with my Effaclar or with my Vichy mattifying suncream.
Are you sure it's the BB cream that's the problem and not any other products?

Thanks all, I will look into the Clinique, I’m using a No7 bb cream at the moment so apprehensive to try the drops but I have a voucher so may just give them a short trial.

It’s definitely the bb cream though, I went a week without it last week and my cheeks started to clear up & no new spots, I would love to go make up free everyday but alas I have hit that point in my 30s where it’s not possible without people asking if I’m ill Envy

Second this -really good products, recommended by dermatologists and won’t break the bank.

Nars tinted moisturiser is nice but for me often end up with a very shiny face. I still use it but have to put some powder with it and if I'm having a particularly oily day it's showing 2 hours later regardless. This is currently my winter choice as it has a good selection of shades so can match my very pale skin.

I really like the garnier BB cream, the one for oily skin, and it's cheap (about a tenner) also La Roche-posay effaclar duo tinted. Both are great but only in the summer as the 'light' shades work for me when I'm using a bit of gradual tanner but not in the depths of winter! These two don't break me out and my face doesn't end up like an oil slick by lunchtime.

I don't have very sensitive skin, or issues with clogged pores, but I do have quite oily skin and the best lightweight foundation I have found is Laura Mercier Oil Free Natural Skin Perfector Tinted Moisturiser. It provides light, natural, buildable coverage, it does have a slightly glowy finish, but I powder it to set. It doesn't last as long as a heavier matte foundation, but not too bad, not slipping off my face or looking like a disco ball in 3 hours.

Is it the BB cream for normal/oily skin, or the one for normal/dry skin? The one for normal/oily skin is supposed to be non-comedogenic. I use it without any problems and I’m extremely acne prone.

Another lovely one is the No7 oil-free foundation. They do a light version of it and it’s divine.
