Coat season!

I am looking for 2 coats for autumn/winter time and I hope the stylish ladies on here could help as I am anything but.

I am early 30s if it helps.

Coat no 1 - a versatile raincoat that's not too warm, to use for day to day, school runs, days out, running errands in the autumn time.
Coat no 2 - a nice warm long waterproof winter coat, my dream is for it to be like a duvet but also not completely shapeless as they don't suit me.

Has anyone seen any anywhere?
Links/ shop recommendations are more than welcome.

No advice I'm afraid but I'm hoping someone else will have some suggestions. My trusty parka has died so have been looking around but can't find anything I like

For Coat 1 have a look at Protected Species, i have the Commuter and have had so much wear out of it. It's also much nicer in real life than the pics on the website and the quality is superb. www.protected-species.com/product/waterproof-commuter/

What’s your budget @dustyflipflop? I’ve started to see some autumn/winter clothes in the shops but you’ll probably have better availability in a month or so!

You could look at Rains for Coat 1 - they’re quite thin so can be worn just over a t shirt if it’s warm and over layers when it’s cooler. www.uk.rains.com/collections/womens-rainwear

For Coat 2 - I have a parka from Parka London which fits this bill, might that work? www.parkalondon.com/ they’ll probably have more available a little later in the year though.

Under £60 for coat 1.
Up to £100 for coat 2.

I do like rains but they are a bit pricey for me unfortunately.

I have my version of Coat 1 from Protected Species and Coat 2 from Zara.

The Zara one was about £80 and they do them most years. It’s thigh length (although I am 5ft 9) padded duvet coat but with poppers at the waist to give definition.

If they do them this year, you could then get a Rains jacket for number 1.

I think Emma Willis at next had a lovely shaped duvet coat last year, only problem was it was so nice it was everywhere! About £100 I think.
