I’m quite fair skinned and although I try to tan….I go red, peel, then back to white!
I don’t fancy a spray tan but thought a subtle, gradual tan might be the way to go!

So, any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks Smile

Sienna sleep tanning drops added to whatever moisturiser you use.

I love using a gradual tanner to help a natural tan last a bit longer or blend in unwanted tan lines. I've used Garnier summer body for a few years and find it good although I have bought Dove summer revived this year just for a change. It's a bit early to give a verdict on this one as only used it a few times so far so the effect is still building up.

Why not simply go out into the fresh air using sunscreen. Avoid the middle of the day and keep to the shade. A natural tan will build up gradually.

I started using this gradual tan from Nivea this summer and really like it. No smell, soaks in quickly and I've got a nice light tan.

It's not exactly tanning weather just now.

I find the Dove one the best.

If only it was that easy! I wear factor 50 and still go red then white again!

Also following this thread. I’ve used the ambre solaire one in the past but it smells a bit of fake tan so I think there’s better options out there.

@drumandthebass I'm on a boat ATM in Sunny Scotland. Glorious sunshine once the mist burns off. We have had about 2mm rain in the last month. The loch levels are as low as I've seen in years.
(and I'm as brown as a berry)Grin

Dove.

I'm very fair too and use St Tropez Purity face tan mist and the tanning water for my body. You can build it up and it looks like a v natural and healthy glow. And doesn't block my pores which is a massive bonus!

@esspee - That makes me so so envious and a little sad! Enjoy the sun Smile

I'm fair, get a light farmer's tan/joined up freckles on my arms/chest, a beetroot face, and my legs just stay milk bottle white with 3 freckles on my left knee. So no, a gradual tan will not build up on everyone.
I use Palmers cocoa butter gradual tan.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 03/08/2021 09:06

M&S Autograph gradual tan.

But I can’t find it this year. Online they’ve changed it to self tan and have the old gradual tan reviews.

Might be in a store. It’s really good.

I mix moisturiser from a bottle with equal amounts of Garnier Summer Tan. Legs, arms, chest and a bit on my face. Daily application makes a really natural light tan.
