How to stop shoes rubbing - help!

I have some new Birkenstocks (can’t seem to add a pic). They’re the plastic style ones called ‘Arizona Two strap’ and they’re super comfy on the soles but rubbing my little toes on both feet.

What can I do?

Any one else had and solved this problem?

Have you tried one of those anti rub stick things, bit like a big lip balm

Vaseline on the part of the shoe that rubs worked for me

Can you either tighten or loosen the bottom strap? Sometimes shoes run because they're too wide.

These?

I second the suggestion to adjust the straps. I’d also put plasters on my little toes, until either the skin toughens up a bit or the straps stretch to fit.

They are similar to those, but the plastic version: here.
