Pixie with shaved sides

Does anyone have this style? I currently have a short pixie crop but which is easy to let go if I can’t get to hair dressers.

But I’d like to go for asymmetric pixie with one shaved side question is.... how often are you at the hairdressers? And how much do they charge for trims?

After the initial cut could I just go to the barber or potentially do it myself?

I had last year and shaved it myself, it's super easy! My hair grows so quickly I had to keep up with it once every three weeks or so, totally worth the price of clippers.

Cool, thanks @nordica! Glad it was easy as a bit scared of the thought of doing it myself but don’t want to end up in the hairdressers every 3 weeks!

I don't have shaved side, but I have a shaved undercut and my step daughter had a shaved side. My DH is pretty good at clipping it (hairdresser even complemented his clipping) - at least up until one day when he mistakenly got a bit of hair caught in the clippers which I'm still growing out . At least it was my hair not step daughter's! On the side I'd do it myself because I could see it, so it's definitely self-maintainable without constantly visiting the hair dresser. I do mine every couple of week.s

I have a pixie with a #2 on both sides. I just get the pros to sort it, tbh. It does grow out a bit betweentimes. I'm sure I could get DH to have a go, but I saw what he did to his own hair during lockdown.

I have an undercut pixie
I do have to get a trim every 4-5 weeks but I don't mind
I love it
Can change it up if I like
Smooth down / blow dry up / messy / straightened / I tone various colours in it sometimes I even get the colour I planned 🤣

Yeah, currently looking at Manic Panic colours 🙈 I don’t mind doing colour myself but a bit nervous about cutting it myself 🤣
