I’ve head Mitchum is decent along with Driclor and Triple Dry. What’s your best? Then roll on, gel, spray? Scented or unsecured? All your deodorant thoughts and experience welcome! Thanks

Typo in pp…unscented not unsecured

I’ve been using Mitchum for a few years, but it doesn’t seem to do the job any more.

TolkiensFallow · 29/07/2021 22:48

Mitchum roll on

blaisealex · 29/07/2021 22:49

Mitchum here. I've tried hundreds of deodorants and it is literally the only one that works for me. The roll on is good but I prefer the spray. Powder Fresh I think. It's the one with pink on the green bottle. Smells like talc.

ponygirlcurtis · 29/07/2021 23:04

I alternate between Mitchum and Bionsen, works for me.

Einszwei · 29/07/2021 23:05

Dove maximum protection cream in pomegranate.

ActonSquirrel · 29/07/2021 23:07

Driclor works but it can sting. It is very intense.

Could it be the case you are not applying ordinary deodorant correctly.

You're actually supposed to spray on deodorant at night before bed so it absorbs into the sweat glands.

I now do it at night and just a touch in the morning and I have to say I have noticed a reduction in sweating.

^ this I now use sure spray from Aldi

fucketyfuckwit · 29/07/2021 23:07

Mitchum but it is also good to use proper soap too as shower gel doesn't work as well.

cookinahurry · 29/07/2021 23:24

Agree with using proper soap to wash. Really makes a difference. GP recommended it to our teenager.

Annoy · 29/07/2021 23:29

Perspirex... nothing else works! I can sweat on the coldest days, it’s embarrassing! This stuff is a life saver.

Mitchum didn’t even touch the sides! And whoever recommended Dove clearly doesn’t have a sweating problem

gingerandsmall · 29/07/2021 23:32

I second washing with proper soap, also using alcohol gel before applying deodorant (let it dry first). I will use Mitchum in a pinch but by far the best thing I've found is a Kutis deodorant stick.

LoganRoy · 29/07/2021 23:45

Sure maximum protection. Like a pp said you can put it on the night before.

coodawoodashooda · 30/07/2021 00:22

Mitchum

PickAChew · 30/07/2021 00:25

I use the unscented mitchum stick. My left armpit sometimes breaks through on very hot days (weirdly, nevee my right one) but otherwise, it does the job.

Nextlevelnonsense · 30/07/2021 18:26

My Sister had botox for hyperhydrosis. Nothing else helped, bless her.

Daisy829 · 30/07/2021 18:32

There’s been another thread on this recently & someone recommended sure maximum protection which I have just tried instead of Mitchum and it’s a game changer! I went to an activity centre today & was fine. I would definitely try it.

AColdDuncanGoodhew · 30/07/2021 19:50

Soap bar in the shower, Mitchum in the stick version, the roll on stopped working for me. Stick is brilliant, I like the pure fresh and coconut versions

BungleandGeorge · 30/07/2021 23:54

Sure maximum gel or Mitchum do practically the same product. I can’t remember what they call it but it’s also a gel in a cardboard box for around £5!

ByeByeMissAmericanPie · 30/07/2021 23:58

I used the Mitchum stick as a change from the rollerball, and got the biggest boil/ blocked pore under my armpit. It went in the bin!

Benvolio · 31/07/2021 00:51

Revently switched from Mitcham unscented to Dove unscented stick. Works just as well, but no white marks on clothes.

Salanda · 31/07/2021 12:05

Perspirex!

AnyName1 · 02/08/2021 11:34

Salt of the Earth. Life changing.

Need a strong deodorant (women’s)
Itsabeautifuldaytosavelives123 · 02/08/2021 19:56

Mitcham and Salt of the Earth are useless for me - I sweat through them, same with every deodorant I've tried. I'm also desperate to find one.

SlatternIsMyMiddleName · 02/08/2021 20:49

Mitchum for me too.
