Night cream, moisturiser, serum, which and when?

Fancy treating myself to this night skincare bundle but can someone explain the need for all 3, do you use them all in a specific order or alternate? Sorry I don’t know much about skin care!

Strange, I would have assumed night cream and moisturiser were the same thing Serum before moisturiser.

Night cream is usually heavier than day cream and will be targeted at repairing. Day cream is usually intended to go under make up.

Serum then moisturizer.
