What to do about ugly and unsuitable clothes

I don’t want to sound ungrateful or horrible but Im quite particular about what I dress my girl in. But my MIL and SIL keep handing my husband clothes for her, eventhough I have repeatedly told them please please no more as we have the next 18 months sorted for her and have more than we know what to do with. The clothes they gift are horrendous and usually not right for the right season eg winter jumpers for summer, shorts for winter, or size 3-6 month vests when she’s already 9 months old?? I have mentioned time and time again that I’m particular about her clothing, usually they’re not the right size and not the right season but they keep buying.
I will happily donate them to someone or somewhere where they will come to good use however now she’s started getting crabby and saying “why don’t I ever see her in the clothes I buy for her” I just don’t know how to approach this anymore without sounding rude?! Advice would really be appreciated

I’d also like to add that once she came to visit with a bag of clothes and she said take what you like and I’ll give the rest to my other grandchild. I took one item to be polite and politely said they’re not my usual style, and she didn’t get the hint and said “what about this” and I said no I’m really sorry, and she said “but surely this is? Go on… take them!”

I think you need to be more assertive whilst staying polite. ‘Thank you so much but DD has more clothes than she could possibly ever wear’ and physically give the clothes back so they can either get refunds or give to someone else.
