Unorganised as everyone.
Races today and it's forecast heavy thundery showers.
So far I've picked a white blazer ...
Any ideas or pics what to wear ?
I don't wear hats and don't want to be too over the top either.

Goodwood races, or elsewhere? The Glorious Goodwood meeting is a degree smarter than most other racedays (short of Royal Ascot) so I'd go pretty dressy, whatever you would wear to a daytime summer wedding is my guide point, so in my case something like a knee length floral fitted summer dress.Your white blazer sounds like it would go nicely. Or if you are more a tailored trouser-suit or smart top person that's fine too. Heels are OK although a day at the races does involve a lot of standing and walking so smart flats or wedges fine too... No hat needed - only at RA is that necessary although you will see some plus fascinators etc.

If it's a different race meeting then dial this massively back as outside the big festivals its pretty much anything goes at the races, you could get away with jeans and a t shirt if you wanted although I'd probably go a little more summery with perhaps a floaty or maxi summer dress and sandals...

Either way take a brolly! Enjoy

No it's Epsom and it's a night meeting so I'm aware it will probably feel a bit chilly later on.
I'm thinking white blazer /black bodysuit with some light blue jeans and heels.
Kind of smart /casual
Are jeans deffo allowed ?

Yes jeans definitely fine, pretty much the only things actively not allowed at a 'normal' race meet are football shirts and fancy dress (to deter rowdy stag/hen dos and large groups of 'lads' looking for trouble!), otherwise so long as you are decent/fully dressed you'll be fine and anything goes. As it's an evening meeting you probably will see some people who have over-dressed (youngsters dressed for clubbing in mini-dresses and stilettos etc!) but what you've chosen sounds perfect, comfortable and classy! Smart-casual very much the vibe!
