Please help to style me

Hello S&B,

Like lots of people I've put during lockdown and have been wearing comfy clothes mainly.

My old clothes no longer fit me and I've got a little bit of money to spend on updating my wardrobe.

I used to live in jeans and t-shirt and get dressed up if I went out. Work was jeans and a shirt but I just feel like I've lost all sense of any style because I'm not used to being this size.

I'm 39, 5'5, my problem areas are my belly and thighs. I've got nice legs, bum & boobs.

Any ideas on what I should be buying. I want to feel good in the clothes I'm wearing.

Green is my favourite colour and heels are a no go.

I am in the same boat as you. And I have found Stitch Fix to be brilliant. You give them all your sizing details, what you like and don't like, what areas you want to cover up/like to show off and they send you 5 or so pieces.

For someone like me that hates shopping, and has always just thrown on jeans and a grey jumper, it's really broadened my fashion horizons.

You pay a £10 booking fee which is credited against whatever you end up buying from what they've sent you.

The clothes range in price - you tell them what you'd usually spend on a pair of jeans, nice top etc and I'm guessing they are then guided by that when deciding what to pick for you. You can also preview the items before they're sent to you, and reject whichever you don't like, so more chance you'll get something you do like.

Ive only had 3 deliveries so far, first one I kept 3 out of 5 items. Second one I kept all 5, and the last one I kept 3. I should say that you have to send any items back you don't want within 7 days of receipt, but no charge for returns, and really simple to do.

Promise I don't work for them, I have just loved somebody else doing the hard work for me!!
