La Mer Moisturising Soft Cream……

I was sent a sample through Vogue Insiders (which is fab by the way for free bits and pieces) - it smells great, feels great, goes a long way, so far so good.

But I’ve looked it up - £135 for 30ml?! What the heck!?!?!??? Is it worth it?????? Does anyone use this regularly and swear by it? Will it make me look like Giselle? Or should I just eke out the minuscule pot from Vogue then forget about it?

Thoughts welcome…….

Ebay ! You'll find lots of those sample pots being sold.

I've finally found my favourite rich overnight cream. It's by Murad. Priced high but not as much as La Mer.

Heh, I went to a La Mer counter in London with a mate. The lady there was tres posh - very "la di daah" on her speech until she forgot herself got a moment and had the most brilliant broad Cockney accent for a few sentences before she caught it and put the posh voice on again 😂😂

It's a lovely product, with the backstory about treating burns etc very laudable, but it's impossible to verify and I suspect utter bollocks. Does anyone know if it's true?

It is a nice cream but didn’t really do much for me.

I use 02 Dr Jackson’s night cream (daytime as well) and for me that is much better.

Not so keen on the soft cream, but love the moisture cream and have used it for years. It is one of the few creams I don’t have an adverse reaction to. People do comment on my lovely skin.
