I am 10 months PP and adapting to my new shape , I find dresses work best as they hide the middle section. I used to live in jeans and little tops but the bit of my body I don’t like is thigh-rib so floaty dresses work well. I know how to wear dresses in summer and the autumn/winter but how the hell do I dress on wet summer days? Doesn’t feel right in tights.
I am 5ft2 so tend to wear dresses above knee otherwise they drown me.
Also what shoes does everyone wear, I would wear flip flops but they are a nightmare driving/playing on the park.
Thanks

I also like dresses, but as you day the cool, wet summer days aren't ideal. Especially if you're out and about with kids.

I do a lot of outdoors stuff with the kids and tend to wear jeans and a t-shirt when we do that kind of thing. I felt similar about my body after having kids, so wore lots of skinny jeans and floaty tops back then. I appreciate that's not the style now. But I still like my skinnies and go for a baggy tshirt and hoodie type outfit.

If I'm wearing a dress, I tend to wear ballet pumps, or converse and vans. I have some slip on vans that I love. I also have some doc marten shoes that work better in the winter.

What about suede or leather style leggings and a long shirt? You can always were a vest top underneath and only button up the bottom few buttons on the shirt if you are worried about your tummy? I would wear trainers with a dress.
