Denim culottes

In or out? Seen a nice dark denim pair but don't want them if they're just a one season trend. Could I wear them in winter? If so, which footwear?

I'm wearing a pair of denim culottes today that I've had for 6 years so not a passing fad - but tbh I wouldn't call them high fashion anyway. If you like them get them, wide legs/ culottes aren't going anywhere yet.

Could you post a picture. I had a quick look on Google images. I like them a lot, but would want thin flexible denim.

I've been wearing them for the last three/four years. So they're definitely not a recent trend. I love them and find them very easy to wear with trainers or ankle boots mainly. My kids however say they are not in now! I would say the shape is a modern classic, similar to the position of maxis in summer.

I've ordered some from Joules. I don't usually shop there, hoping these are well made. They're on sale for £25.
