Mia Tui bags?

I'm looking at this one for the new school year - I'm a secondary school teacher who will happily be getting her classroom back in September so won't need to move around as much! I want to treat myself to a new bag as my backpack just isn't cutting it anymore.

Has anyone used these ones? I am looking at the one linked below as it looks like it will hold what I need it to. Anyone used them or can recommend something similar?

I have a smaller version this one and like it helps me stay organised and everything has a place. Plus British brand and Vegan (I think). It's worn well the handles haven't started flaking off or anything like that like some bags do.

I haven’t got that one but own one of their backpacks and a purse. Really lovely quality and look really lovely. Always receives compliments

Ooh good to see two thumbs up for them! I can’t stop looking at the site - plus free handbag worth £27 not to be sniffed at!

I am also a teacher and have the back pack one but use it for my personal clutter. I still use a supermarket hessian bag for laptop and school crap.

I love mine. Being honest they’re not the most stylish of bags- they do look a bit plastic ish but they’re wonderful for holding loads of stuff. I have mine because I have a lot of emergency medication (syringes etc) that I need to take out with my and the multiple pockets work really well for all my stuff.

LostArcher · 28/07/2021 08:16

Quality is really good though. Had mine for around four years and still looks good.

I’ve got the Jennie in metallic grey and it’s great, although I’m now eyeing up the one you’ve linked to!

It’s lasting really well so far (was getting daily use pre pandemic and WFH) plus the extra little bags were really useful when I travelled. Mine came with a little clear pouch plus the crossbody one I think they show as Megan.

LouLou198 · 28/07/2021 08:24

I haven't got that exact one but I have a large handbag, back pack and several of the small crossover bags. I was at first dubious as to how they would last with not being leather, but the quality is amazing. I use one of them daily, no cracks at all. The light blue lining makes it a lot easier to find things in the bag and the multiple pockets/sections are really handy.

Bought as a gift for DM and MIL. The one that goes over your case handle, meaning your bag is at waist height.
So much easier for them than scrabbling around on the floor to get out travel documents and so much easier to transport.

The added bonus is the bright lining. I hadn't realised this is a design feature until my DM said it was so easy to find everything inside, no 'dark, hidden depths'.

I have a Sarah. The best bits are that I can cram everything in and the turquoise interior so I can see everything. The worst bit is the front pocket because it doesn't zip down all the way BUT that means stuff doesn't fall out of the front, so you can put things in there loose.

Datingandnoideahowto · 28/07/2021 08:41

I have four 😳.

They’re practical but not overly stylish. But the ones I use the most.

I have a Jennie and mini Jen for travelling, a Zoe I use every day and a cross body bag for when I want my hands free and don’t want to cart half my life with me.

The Jennie and mini Jennie have small cross body bags, and them and the Zoe have a clear bag for make up etc as well.

I’m a secondary school teacher too and I have the mini Jen in Rose gold and I used the silver backpack when we spent our days traipsing round the school! Great bags and I love the key holder elasticated bit and the insulated bottle holder. Originally I bought the Mini Jen for holiday as it goes over my suitcase but that doesn’t seem to have worked out well this year! Started using it for school and has been brilliant.

Fruityb · 28/07/2021 08:58

This one comes with a free Megan bag which I like the look of.

I am hopeful to not be dragging my life round school this year (classroom based once more, woop!) so wanted something a bit more grown up.

I don’t think £55 for the big Sarah bag and the handbag is too bad if they last as well as people are saying. I know they’re pleather but it seems they last. And the lining is a big thumbs up as I love the colour - didn’t notice it was to help find things but that makes sense!

Any recommendations for one with LOADS of pockets/sections? Please

therighttime12 · 29/07/2021 07:50

I have the Sarah laptop bag and it has been great, highly recommend!

I have a Jennie and a Sydney and love them. I love the clear bag thing that comes with it and I use the big make up bag thingy as nappy and wipes holder.

Fruityb · 30/07/2021 09:02

Oh it’s so pretty and everything I need fits in! The little handbag I got free with it (Megan) is spot on and the strap is really long. Being quite tall I always find they can bump me in the back but this goes down to my hip. Well worth the purchase!
