Apologies if this is old news and everyone else has been enjoying it quietly for weeks. I'd almost given up looking after seeing a couple of months ago that the nearest store that had it to me was the other side of border control at Leeds Bradford Airport. Today I was in town and thought I'd have a look and there it was! So relieved after trying endless much more expensive substitutes that just didn't work.

How do you use it? I've heard so much about it but never tried to style my curly hair with products

MsFogi · 26/07/2021 15:11

So relieved! I bought the two tubs in my local Boots as soon as I saw them on Saturday!

I use it on wet hair, straight out of the shower. I run it through my hair with my head upside down and then leave it to dry naturally (initially in a turban).

I knew it would. It disappears every so often and returns a while later.

Thank goodness, I'm using Cantu at the mo but it just doesn't suit my hair. Off to town tomorrow!

Yes, I've been using Cantu too. It smells great but it just doesn't work as well for me.

I was starting to lose hope this time. It's been ages!

@TranquilityofSolitude thank you!

Just came across your post. I have naturally wavy/frizzy hair. It will curl with mousse but I don't like the darkening (almost wet look) effect of mousse not occasional crispness.

I've never heard or curl creme. Is it this stuff? I'm fed up of wasting money on serums and mousses and all sorts which don't tame the bouffant that is my hair.

I don't need any because I use a tiny amount but I am slightly inclined to go pick up a couple more pots 😅 I hate the trust issue their patchy stick causes

EatingAllThePies · 27/07/2021 07:19

Oh wow. I don't like it but as a curly I hate it when products disappear! Have they changed the formula?

something2say · 27/07/2021 07:31

Is it curly girl friendly?

EverythingDelegated · 27/07/2021 07:34

It doesn't work for me but glad to hear its back as I know so many love it.

TreeWizard · 27/07/2021 07:38

I believe it's not officially CG friendly as it has a small amount of drying alcohol listed but I don't care and use it anyway as it's the only thing that controls my hair.
I have tried so hard to find another product I like as much but nothing has come close so far. It's such a shame that it disappears from the shelves for months at a time though.

Hungry675tf · 28/07/2021 17:25

Managed to find some today. Have never used it before but after reading the reviews thought I would give it a go.

How on earth do I use it? My hair is long and wavy rather than curly.

flowerycurtain · 28/07/2021 17:29

This news has made my day!! Tried loads of other expensive stuff and nothing comes close

huuuuunnnndderrricks · 28/07/2021 17:38

I think they have changed the formula , I tried it again yesterday and it's great ! Last time it made my hair super sticky!!

Use an incredibly small amount!!

Thanks for the heads up OPThanks.

They better not have messed with the formula Angry

DinosaurDiana · 28/07/2021 20:12

I found it too heavy for my curly hair, but my hair is quite thin.
A drop of L’Oréal oil on my wet hair works best.
