It’s a family failing, my dad used to have a sweaty head, but at least he had a short hair cut, so just had to deal with the rivers of sweat. I’ve just walked the dog, it’s not even that hot and my hair is dripping. I’ve had a short tapered Bob to try and help. It’s not. Makeup, even moisturiser and sunblock is washed off. My body is fine, it’s just my horrible sweaty head. Anyone got any tips?

No tips but watching with interest! I have developed a disgustingly sweaty scalp after getting fat and post menopausal and it really gets me down. It makes my hair go mad and is very uncomfortable.

Mine’s the same ☹️ I’m resigned to showering after dog walk/ gardening/ whatever whenever this happens!
I was dripping yesterday after an hours gardening really early in the day, it’s horrible isn’t it!

I get this in the hot weather after daily exercising, not much I can do about that aside from wash my hair more often, which is a pain. I wear hair mostly in a long plait in this weather which helps.

However, for gardening, walking, etc, I've found that wearing a cotton hat helps enormously.

I use a 'cool towel' when it's hot, tie it on like a hairband, or put it round my neck. Very cheap from ebay etc, it's a strip of magical fabric which stays cold when wet. They do get a bit drippy as they don't absorb the water, but small price to pay for being cool.

Forgot to add, just got a gel pillow for nighttime (saw it on here), £6 on ebay, that's also fab. Keep it in the fridge during the day.

When I run or exercise I wear a Hygge band that is amazing at soaking up sweat and stopping it from dripping down my face.
