After spending a long time (years) travelling and living out of a backpack, I've finally been semi-settled in one place for a while and I think it's time to build a wardrobe of actual grown-up stylish clothes that I like, rather than functional travel clothing.
But it's been so long since I've been tapped into this world, I think getting some visual inspiration would be really helpful.
So: who do you follow on instagram / online that you think would be helpful?
My favourite looks are basics with-a-twist:
- Jeans and white trainers with a white tee and grey coatigan – and then a bright statement necklace or a bowler hat
- Leather-look leggings with a black tank top and orange patterned kimono
- A khaki boiler suit with a headscarf and bright lip
- A leopard print midi skirt with a white tank, sunnies and denim jacket...
Low-stress, easy stuff to throw on, but pulled-together.
