Shoulders covered at a church wedding?

Is this still a thing? I’m going to my cousins C of E church wedding this weekend, and am wearing a dress that kind of doesn’t cover my shoulders (wide straps). Do I need a cardie or wrap for in the church? I looked back at my wedding photos to see what the guests were wearing but couldn’t really tell!

This picture is from the Church of England's own website, so I think they allow bare shoulders in church now.

I definitely had bare shoulders at my own wedding, just not sure about the guests?

Ooh, interesting. I’d always cover my shoulders for church (and had a wrap for that purpose at my own wedding) but I don’t think you’d be chased out, more just raising an eyebrow from the granny section depends if you care about that or not!

Having straps is ok.

It doesn't mean (and has never meant) that the points of the shoulders cannot be bare - it refers to the whole top line between point of shoulder and neck. So strapless is a bit much but strappy is fine

Heads shoulders knees and toes in a Catholic church but I think CofE aren't bothered.
