Shaving rash help

Not sure whether here is the best place for this or if I should’ve gone with health but i plumped for here.

Does anyone have any good remedies for shaving rash on legs? (Bikini line is another issue-so bad there I basically can’t shave it!) Sometimes I’m ok but other times it’s really bad. I’ve stuck some of dd’s eczema ointment on as it’s all I have to hand.

Aloe Vera works for me or calamine lotion

After the event the best thing I've found is the body shop hand creams. I have a big absinthe one that works a treat but I reckon any would do. I suffer really badly but have not tried the calamine suggested above. My advice is try to stop it ahead of time, I now don't shave without slathering my legs (or elsewhere) in conditioner and then I use a really good moisturiser after.

Sudocreme! Works like a charm

WeeM · 25/07/2021 22:51

Thanks I think I’ll give one or all of them a try! I usually avoid it for the most sort now by slathering moisturiser afterwards but think I didn’t use enough shaving cream today.

Oh sudocrem, I think I might have some of that somewhere in a cupboard!

Ooh sudocrem, excellent suggestion

Sudocrem! I don't usually shave my bikini line but did for speed before a beach trip last week and it was awful. A generous application of sudocrem left on overnight worked a treat.

Calendula cream - works for every kind or skin rash and irritation

Thanks all, found some sudocrem so I’ve tried that and might look at some of the others tomorrow Smile
