Might be travelling to the UK and visiting Brighton and London, any beauty buys for 50 year old skin that can be acne prone?
I like a glycolic acid but should maybe trying vitamin c too?

Where are you coming from? (Not much point us recommending things that you already get)

From Guernsey, we only have Boots and the likes of Clarins,Dior, Chanel etc. Nothing budget friendly:)

I would get along to Deciem and chat with the people there about the Ordinary range; I know it's a bit Marmite here but they have a big product range with all sorts of different active ingredients and the staff are really helpful.

I'm 48 and I like the Vitamin C paste and the AHA mask, as well as the plain moisturiser and the squalane oil plus all sorts of other things I've tried. Most of the range is under £10, so if something doesn't do much it's not too much of a disaster.

I have a Space NK shop near me too, which carries lots of brands and has some lovely stuff (and which I'm currently avoiding for the sake of my bank account).

I'd just go to Selfridges and have a look at their beauty hall. They have so many brands and the staff are always helpful and friendly.
