Levi's jeans sizing help!

My jeans are all faded and full of rips and holes so I want to treat myself to a couple of new pairs. I've previously always bought jeans from Topshop but I bought one pair since they folded and went onto ASOS and the quality wasn't great so I think I want to upgrade. Looking at Levi's, but have no idea of sizing! Can anyone advise how the sizing compares? I was always a size 8 in Topshop (6 in places like Whistles and hush) - how does the Levi's sizing compare? I'm planning to order a whole load of pairs to try on and send back but not sure where to start! Thanks in advance!

I'm a size 28" and usually a size 10. I'm 5' 9" pear shaped.

I am also a 10 and go for 28, I'm 5'7 and I go for a 30 leg or 26 in the cropped style.

If you are buying women's jeans, a 28 is a 10.
If you are buying unisex, get a 29 or 30.

If you are buying women's jeans they have short front pockets.

Thank you! I'm 5ft5ish and about 8-8.5 stone. Depending on where I shop I'm normally either an 8 or sometimes a 10 (Topshop, Warehouse) or 6 (Whistles, hush, Mint Velvet etc). Sounds like maybe a 26 would be right? Can anyone comment on how Levi's sizing compares to any of these brands (eg comes up small compared to Topshop, or similar to hush sizing etc)?

They have a, 'find your size' secrion on their website, you just need to measure your wait and hips and, go with the best fit.

I would go for a 26 @MunsteadWood as they do stretch a bit around the waist.

I'd go for the 26.

26. No bigger. I'm a small 12 and a pair of Mile High Skinnies fits me in a 27.

My d (21) is a size 6-8 and wears Levi’s in size 26 if that helps?

Thought I'd quickly report back! I ordered a whole load of jeans on my credit card to try. Have ended up with a pair of hush skinnies and am toying with some Whistles slim jeans with frayed hems, just waiting on a smaller size to arrive tomorrow so I can decide which one to keep. I didn't get any Levi's in the end (!) as I got a bit overwhelmed by all the different styles, but might have a look again in the autumn. Thanks again for all the advice! I also really wanted to like the Whistles barrel leg jeans but the 26 felt enormous and my credit card couldn't quite stretch to another £100 of jeans....... Will have another look at those in the autumn too - I'm a fan of the high waisted look and always think they look great on others.

Levi's sizing is completely random. It varies depending on where the item in question is manufactured. Some places cut the denim extremely small, others less so. Only way to be sure any specific pair will fit is to try them on, because two pairs of the same style in nominally the same size will be different if one is made in Belgium and the other in Turkey.
