Jumpsuits for work

Are jumpsuits work appropriate? People wear long dresses to work so I feel like they should be but for some reason I'm not sure.
It's smart dress, sometimes some patient facing work. What would I be looking for in a work jumpsuit and any recommendations?

Thank you I'll have a look. I think it's just that I don't commonly see people wearing them.

I wear jumpsuits to work all the time. Maybe opt for all black, navy or dark green/charcoal to begin with - some of the more patterned ones, though pretty, can look more casual if you have a more smart dress code. I have several from Whistles which I love
