I’ll probably start low key with a white T and supergas but have some block healed neon yellow mules and a matching oversized jumper that I’m contemplating for autumn.

I’m sure I’ll blend right in on the school run!

If you aren’t massively offended by my style choice can you suggest other outfit options?

I only have two things from there at the mo so can’t comment much on quality, the main reason I haven’t ordered more is because of the amount of polyester in their designs. That’s rules out most tops and dresses for me. Plus £££

I like the cami too but if it’s warm enough to wear it then it’s 100% too sunny for me to have bare shoulders even with factor 50.

Spotted in a mocking S&B thread, it "spoke" to me. Worn twice in two years as the trip it was bought for has been cancelled twice. It was much admired during the street's 'VE Day festivities last year.

I think it's lovely. Unfortunate OP that you cannot have bare shoulders, hope you can find something you like with it.

I have this skirt but in a different pattern but bought it in the sale. I do love it but their stuff is way over priced for what it is. I may have made a sewing pattern from my skirt and I may have made my own in a very lovely green silk!

I’ve been flirting with NFD for ages, they stalk me on FB and I’m almost ready to give in.

I’m slightly put off that they always style skirts and dresses split to the crotch though. This not a style feature I need.

You could just buy a patterned tea towel for £1.99 and tie it round your waist? That would save you a fortune!

@thefirstmrsrochester funnily enough I was looking at orange blouses in Zara yesterday but then I had to check myself because I have no where to wear that outfit. When people go out round here it’s a carefully curated “I just threw this on” look. Hence the plain T or chunky jumper ideas.

@Redcrayons I size up in these skirts and wear “chub rub” shorts underneath for modesty. It’s the most flattering midi skirt option for my body shape.

This one I like the look of, is linen and cotton, but it doesn’t seem very flattering for post-partum middles!

I’d wear it with a T shirt and flat sandals or when cooler a very oversized jumper… go in the opposite direction to what you think.

Oh how funny i have had a skirt from NFD delivered today - i got the bali print. My plan was to wear as a dress but i much prefer as a skirt - it was in the sale and as my first order i got 10% off - so money wise not bad. Think it'll be lovely with plain white T and trainers too, but its first outing will be for brunch in a couple of weeks with some girlfriends.

Re the photos, that yellow oversized jumper is almost exactly like the one I described in my post, mine is slightly more neon.
