I'm just wondering if there are any nail techs on here who can offer some helpful guidance / advice.
Basically I'm thinking about taking a course in manicure & gels only (maybe nail art further down the line but not interested in acrylics or anything) to set up a side hustle to my full time job. I follow so many talented nail techs on Instagram and many seem to use the company 'The Gel Bottle'.
Done my research into courses and what kit I'll need to invest in (I don't want to buy a sub par brand to use for training I'd rather buy once and buy well) and saw they do a beginners kit with everything I'll need.
NCC course is online only (perfect now I'm on summer holidays and have time to complete modules / practise) and requires you to provide all your own kit.
Only problem is, TGB and other reputable companies will only let you buy their products if you're already qualified with proof of certificate etc.
So I guess my question is... how are you supposed to invest in decent kit when starting out / learning everything if companies won't actually let you buy it?
