Watching with interest because I don’t think they exist.

Best alternative has been men’s department but they are always very boxy.

Aquamarine1029 · 24/07/2021 06:29

I would look at Lands End.

They also have other styles to choose from.

EverythingDelegated · 24/07/2021 06:42

These are good from H&M, the ribbed fabric makes them thick and hold their shape well

H&M but you have to shop in store to see the fabric. I have some very thick ones from there, but also wispy thin boxy ones which is why you need to see them in person.

ANewBrandOfShetlandPony · 24/07/2021 07:10

Thanks everyone, the ribbed t-shirt from h&m might work as it's quite a high cut, she's very self conscious about showing skin too!!

Zara but again in store as really vary.

LynetteScavo · 24/07/2021 08:04

Have a look at Arket, they're not the cheapest, but they are thick and good quality.

Inthesameboatatmo · 24/07/2021 08:10

Primark have got loads of tunic styles in at the moment lots of white ones

CheshireSplat · 24/07/2021 08:25

I've just bought some really nice t-shirts from Esprit. More than I would have paid previously but really pleased with quality. They're not at all clingy.

I think with white t shirts, the best thing to do is to go and try on as many as possible from the high street - until you find the right one.

TimeFlying · 24/07/2021 08:41

Was also going to recommend Arket

Theworldisquiethere · 24/07/2021 08:45

Just look in the men’s section! I’ve got a handful of men’s plain t shirts from H&M and they’re comfy and fit really nicely

OlivesTree · 24/07/2021 16:47

I got a couple in Gap recently that are great. Traditional t-shirt style, not stretchy or clingy, nor boxy. Lovely thick cotton. 🙂

Ponks · 24/07/2021 23:00

Uniqlo U. About £9.99 , non see through but fairly straight / slim fitting.

For basics fruit of the loom, cheap as chips too.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 25/07/2021 09:03

Fruit of the Loom, look on Amazon.

RampantIvy · 25/07/2021 09:06

Sainsburys often have good quality T-shirts.

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 25/07/2021 10:21

Cos is your friend here. I’ve never bought anything that is remotely see through from them unless it’s described as sheer. The only other place I’d recommend is Arket.
