Tips for getting deodorant stains out of clothes?

I've just taken a white sleeveless dress out of my wardrobe and have seen it's quite stained in the armpits from my deodorant. Does anyone have any tips on how to remove the stains and prevent further ones?

Make a paste from bicarbonate of soda, hydrogen peroxide and dishwashing soap. I apply with a toothbrush. Leave on for a couple of hours and then wash as normal. You should test for colourfastness due to the hydrogen peroxide, but I have used on coloured clothes before.

Sorry, just seen it is a white dress, this works amazingly well!
