Short, plus size evening wedding guest

First time begging you ladies for help! I am off to the evening bit of a friend's wedding. I am clueless about what to wear. I am old, short and a size 22 (god I hate writing that down!). I have a couple of dresses in a basket at the moment but, to be honest, I hate my calves so much that I feel I would rather wear trousers.

Any suggestions for speedy delivery please as I have left this to the last possible moment to think about?

What is the budget?

Long dress so can’t see calves?

Thanks for these. Sorry not to provide a budget - I haven't really got one although balked at a dress I liked that was £199!

Um, I also struggle with navy somewhat. I may be in my 50s but am not quite ready to embrace navy yet. Sorry, I realise that I am being ridiculous!

Very have a leopard print jersey dress, it's nice than it sounds and could be dressed up.

I found a brand called eshatki that does dresses in 22 petite, they're around the £50 Mark and some would be suitable for an evening do. You can buy them on Amazon but they have their own site too.
Good luck with your search.

Have a look at Donald Stanley, they make bespoke but often have some ready made items available quickly. Best bet is to contact them directly.

Have you looked at Studio 8? How about a top such as this www.phase-eight.com/clothing/occasionwearpromo/ and trousers? I really don't think that you need to wear a dress for just the evening do.
