Baby carrier

Hi mum's, first time poster with 7 week old boy. I watch my husband daily carrying DS in the baby bjorn miracle we bought in preparation for parenting, he gets on with anything that needs doing including cutting the grass or vacuum cleaning stairs and baby loves being in there, the problem I have is I was back in my size 6 jeans after a week and the infant carrier is too big for me, the straps don't adjust small enough leaving us both feeling horribly unsecured, I should feel brilliant about losing all the baby weight which I do and am grateful for but I also feel I'm missing out. Has anyone had a similar problem and found an adjustable harness style carrier for skinny bitches? I've tried a caboo with the 2 rings on either side and also a 4 metre long wrap but both still feel very unsecured while being very cumbersome to put on when I'm alone. Smile

Tula, I lost weight and consequently the Ergo carrier just slipped off my shoulders so I got a Tula instead and loved it.

The Tula doesn’t forward face (which isn’t apparently so good for your back anyway) but they buckle up tight if you’re small and you can back carry which is great.

…they used to come in different fabrics, or google podaegi, they will fit any size

I’m petite and slim and tried a lot of things, I couldn’t get on with Ergo or Caboo either. A Tula was still too bulky for me. Connecta/ integra is small and light and you can cross the straps at the back. Ring slings and woven wraps are the most adjustable but take a bit of practice.
If possible I’d try a few things at a sling library if they’re open.
