Veja trainer sizing - it you have a pair?

I'd really like to get some Veja trainers as I've seen a style I particularly liked. There isn't anywhere I can try them on so I'll need to order and hope they fit, or exchange.
The ones I liked are more running shoe like than the more casual mostly white ones that I know are very popular.
If anyone wears Veja, can you tell me about the sizing compared to other shoes?
I take an 8 in normal shoes and boots, but a 7 in Nike trainers. I'd be really grateful if anyone can give me an idea how big/small they come up compared to your normal shoe size or Nike trainers if you have any.

Is it the rio branco you’re looking at? I’ve seen people on here say they run small but I find them true to size. I’m a 6.5/7, also a 6.5/7 in Nike, adidas, new balance… my Vejas are 7.

Oh I don't find them true to size. I'm normally a 6 and was advised to go smaller so I bought a 5 and a 6. The 5 I couldn't walk in they were so tight and the 6 were far to big. I sent them both back. Shame as I really liked them.

Also, even within the same brand the sizing alters. I am always a size 6 in Nike. Have been for years. Bought a new pair in size 6 and they are so tight my toe pokes through the fabric! I'd walked on them outside before I realised 🤦🏻‍♀️

V10s I had to go a size bigger, and be warned they absolutely shredded my feet until I wore them in. I wouldn't get another pair.

It was the Condor 2 style which I was looking at. I tried to attach a screenshot but MN won't let me upload it.

@DoneAdulting that doesn't sound too good, do you think maybe they're not very good? I'm a bit worried if they're bad for rubbing feet as my skin does blister easily from shoes

@DK123 my rio brancos (runner style) are incredibly comfortable but the v-10s aren’t so much. Although they do get more comfortable with time. The condor 2 look like they’d be good. I’m tempted!

@Miseryisabutterfly the Rio Branco ones are really nice, I have a similar style in Nike called Internationalist. The v10 style are nice, but I never find that sort of trainer comfortable on my feet, the more "running shoe" style works better for me. I know I could send them back if they don't fit, but I want make an informed guess on which size to order, I think I'll order a size up from what I'd take in Nike, as they sound like they do come up a bit small.

I'm a 7 and I wear 7's in my Vejas. Mine are super comfy and no rubbing. I wore them without socks last night too :)

I have 3 pairs of Veja ( campo, V lock and rio Branco) and the rio Branco are a size larger than my usual size

In Nike I'm usually a 6 or 6.5.

I have Veja esplar and campo both in a size 7. I find they come up small personally. If you're in between sizes definitely size up.

Or order two sizes send one back

I'm ideally a 6.5 but bought size 6 Vegas Esplars and they pinch my toes a bit. Okay for short walks but not so much for hours on end. Would agree to sizing up rather than down.
