Why can’t I wear Sandals!

I unfortunately have major issues with my feet- always struggled to find shoes that fit and have always lived in boots instead as I finds these so much comfier.
I’ve recently been told I’ve got plantar fasciitis and I normally have to wear insoles inside my footwear. I love pretty sandals though and would love to be able to wear some with a small heel- I’m never going to be able to wear high heels but that’s fine with me and I hardly wore them anyway.
I just want a cute sandal that gives me a little bit of height and looks feminine when I wear my play suits, dresses etc instead of my sensible looking Skechers slip ones which are incredibly comfy but soooo frumpy with my dresses. However Hotter are no good (far too wide), and I normally find Clark’s etc really uncomfortable so I do really seem to be left with sensible shoes for the older lady - please help me find an alternative! I need something with great arch support, lots of padding, but also feminine and flattering- does this even exist?!!!

Birkenstocks

I have no idea but I could have written this myself! I do own some fitflops with a backstrap which have instep support and seem to help mine a bit.

@disconnecteddrifter I tried Birkenstock but found them incredibly uncomfortable.
I’ll have a look at fit flops- it’s so frustrating isn’t it @Lemonysherbet!

I have these and they are ridiculously comfy, they go with everything as well.
I get a lot of compliments on them.

Have a look at Vionic shoes I reckon you will find someone suitable on their website. My sister suffers with plantar fasciitis and swears by them.
