L'Oréal Voluminous mascara

What has happened to it?!!

I used to love this mascara, went through quite a few tubes after Kim Kardashian's make up artist recommended it. Lapsed a bit after discovering Marc Jacobs mascara (good but not perfect at £20) and decided to re-buy it and it's awful! My lashes look like plastic spiders legs clumped together. £9 down the drain.

Can anyone recommended a good non-plastic brush mascara ideally under £15? The quest goes on...

I really like Max Factor’s Masterpiece Max… but i think the brush is plastic unfortunately (don’t have one on the go at the moment to check). It’s the one I go back to the most though it’s not perfect. Why is it SO hard to find really good mascaras? Even the ones I like the most aren’t amazing.

Isn't it! I've been looking for a decent mascara for YEARS! Even the Marc Jacobs one which is the first in ages I've liked flakes off. I'll check out the Max Factor one. I do like a proper thick bristly brush though.

I used to use Clinique high impact mascara but stopped due to cost. Suggest Maybelline sky high, plastic wand but affordable and can get a nice lift and volume without eyelash curlers. On second tube now.

Also don't recommend L'Oréal miss manga mascara, supposed to give volume but didn't lift quite like the sky high and it flakes.

Maybelline False Lash Lift or L’Oreal Paradise are both lovely bristle brush mascaras. I used to love Voluminous too but haven’t used it for years (shame it’s not the same any more!)
