Where to shop...

Ok so before pandemic terms I enjoyed shopping in:

And other stories
Hush (online or in JL)
John lewis generally
Warehouse (before it changed hands)
Topshop (although felt I was getting a tad old for it)
H&M (rarely for bits and bobs)
Zara (quite a lot but can't be bothered with their online shop for some reason)
Whistles (rarely as find it pricey)
Boden (Ok but find a bit frumpy)

Where the heck do i shop? Can anyone give me some brands I might like to try? I would say Hush is more the top end of my budget really...I work from home and I only need the odd 'nice' thing but feel like my wardrobe is sooooo boring now after endless lockdowns. I am size 8-10 have a good figure so can where most things but 40 ish and feel I need less cheap clothing and more longer lasting pieces...!

Thanks

Still love John Lewis, lol - good mix of brands. ASOS also has a mix of brands, including Ted Baker and All Saints if you like those. Me and Em is good quality, classic pieces. Tried Baukjen? I’ve gone off them recently, too much Working From Home leisure wear, but you can still find a good piece in there. Desigual is a fave of mine too.

Cos, Arket, Other Stories. I bought some absolutely beautiful cardis in the sale from Other Stories and had lots of compliments. Cardis were 25 quid online down from 85 in the sale (although full rouge in the stores). The quality and design are superb for all three.

You could also try Anthropologie - a lot of their stuff looks awful but occasionally they have really beautiful and unusual pieces. I bought a gorgeous white cotton kimono jacket from there.

Thank you some good tips here of places I had basically forgotten! Not going to a high street in a year has made me forget a lot!

M&S? Some ranges are somewhat frumpy but others are nice and good quality (e.g. Autograph)
