Hi everyone,

I'm considering splurging and having a ring made for me. It would have different coloured gem stones to represent my family members. I've had a Google and got a vague idea of what I might like but thought I'd consult you knowledgeable lot too!

A few questions; how much roughly should I expect to pay for a silver ring with gem stones(no diamonds).

Is there actually any difference between white gold and silver?

And of course, show me your beautiful rings please! (Not a euphemism!)

OP, I have a few rings by this lady on Etsy. She does bespoke orders too and all her stuff is quite reasonably priced (the silver stuff especially)

Lovely things on here!

Charlotte Jones jewellery does some lovely bespoke items, she was a mumsnetter at one point. She’s made some lovely things in the style you’re after

@Squiz81 check out the Posh Totty Confetti ring (naff name I know, but I've ordered from them before and always been pleased)

The price will depend on which stones you choose, but definitely cheaper than the one you posted.

Oooh thanks @PrimeraVez I’ll go and check them out now.

I was just looking on this site www.shaktiellenwood.com/product-category/ethical-jewellery/ethical-rings/
She makes some beautiful rings, but again, not cheap.

Does anyone not follow the rule of not mixing different carats so as not to wear them down? My engagement/ wedding are 18ct - worried that wearing or silver next to them would damage them, but don’t know how true that is🤷🏼‍♀️
