Flattering vests for men

My DH insists on wearing vests when it's hot, I hate them he is slim with slim arms and a bit of a belly. Now I'm no oil painting and he can wear what he likes, but if I can find something a bit more flattering that would be great. I do mean vests though he has plenty of shirts and tshirts it's just vests I'm looking for.

Would looser sports ones be more flattering

I agree, a sports one that hangs a bit looser than the traditional cotton vests looks more modern. Something like this maybe?

If you Google 'mens sleeveless t-shirt' you get some decent looking options. They have a higher neckline than a traditional vest, which looks a bit better I think.

^This. Certain vest tops look fine on enviably slim women imo, but pretty much no men's vests look good.

Men and vests are grim aren't they somehow .. either too muscly or too skinny . They just look wrong!
