I like 1 and 2 best @EllaPaella

We're going out for tea - I'm wearing the same black dress but swapped the brogues (which shredded my heels 😭) for black suede boots with a little heel. Not a very summery outfit but will wear my denim jacket so it's not all black!!

Boots look good Sick 👌 Help me decide what to wear tonight (dinner and drinks out). It's warm at the moment but typically now it's mid September it's getting suddenly chilly around 7pm, gone are the endless warm summer evenings. Which dress? Am going to wear with DM's and biker as shown. Maybe number is too summery to transition to autumn evenings?

@ellapaella I love number 2! Where's if from, if you don't mind me asking? Thanks (ocassional lurker who.might one day be brave enough to post my own pics )

I think @20FlowerPower & @NotImpossible the middle is from Sezane if remember correctly as I really like it.
The one with the yellow border on the bottom is Libby loves because when @EllaPaella posted it I went and looked and bought a pink dress from there.

@NotImpossible yes as Sick says it's Sezane. I went with dress number one in the end but am out again tonight so might wear the Sezane one.
I wore biker jacket and DM's last night but actually it was far too warm! It was warm and humid until I got home after midnight so might stick to sandals today.

I think I’ve misjudged the weather again. It’s actually surprisingly warm and humid - I might have to get changed (I’ve already swapped the trainers for sandals).

Made it out this evening after a suspected DVT and a nasty reaction to Tramadol . Made me think sod it, life's too short, wear the damn boots!

@NotImpossible Sézane is on eBay and Vinted and I buy from a Facebook group. @EllaPaella's dress is past season and Sézane has 'archive' sales which are worth looking out for. Next one will be Christmas time. Sézane can be pricey but the fabrics are really good ( often) and seem to hold their value to sell on.

So yesterday was DDs legal wedding ceremony and I was one of the two witnesses and naturally forgot to get a photo! I wore this dress with a denim jacket and the most uncomfortable shoes I own! I had no idea - They are going straight on eBay....it was lovely. 10 minute ceremony ( most of the time was spent spelling our unusual Russian surname out three times ) followed by a walk by the sea then a brunch at our favourite cafe. Home for cake made by DS ( a baker) and the bride and groom went for a swim then we had tesco pizzas for dinner and played rummikub with DD in her room until late ( ie 10.30). Bliss. (Poor DH FaceTimed in from a remote Hebridean island .)

I’m not sure it’s going to be as warm today. I’ve rediscovered this thinner jumper (the front is printed silk). I don’t seem to have worn it for a while.

Humid here.. we have a weather warning in pace but no sign of rain yet.
Shown this outfit before but M&S culottes for me today. I went out again last night and it was so warm we sat outside until 11.30, is this normal for September?

DS has a cold and cough (not Covid) my friend who works on the children's ward has said it's been much busier since we all started mixing more with children with just general viruses. The theory is that they haven't built up the immunity they normally would.

He actually had a nap this afternoon which he never does, I actually joined him as feel a little I'll and really tired so dressed for comfort and warmth.
