@EllaPaella I OWS although where is swim there has been swimmers itch so I’ve never gone without my wetsuit - I find it too warm
Sometimes. It is so good for my head space though and I feel so much stronger in myself.

We’ve been shopping for uni things today. I slipped into a shop that sold Levi’s and in a quest to find some grey jeans I tried the 311’s on. Beautiful fit but the legs were different lengths 🤦‍♀️ I really liked so I have ordered off of the Levi website!

I've said it before but I do love that blue & white blouse @OublietteBravo.

I had never heard of swimmers itch @PalacePaper so I've learnt something new today.

@OublietteBravo have you seen ECCO are doing what look like metallic green (it could be my phone and they aren't metallic) in the boot you & I have, I don't know about you but they are by far the most comfortable and versatile boot I've ever had.

DD1 does cold water swimming in the Peaks. She loves it and we got her a HUUB (?) wetsuit for Christmas last year. She used that up until March. She doesn't especially like sea swimming ( none of our kids do, they prefer rivers and lakes; weird). DH swimming in the Hebrides daily at the moment. Apparently it's quite cold! I feel so sorry for DD as she is a total water baby and it's where she feels happiest ( I now wonder if it's because she has EDS. Which was undiagnosed as a child) and she is weightless, anyway she can't swim now because we can't get her there. So she's not swam since august 2013 when she was in the dordogne river all holiday and we had to drag her out ! I like swimming but am allergic to water.

I love those green boots @Sickoffamilydrama. I agree that my current ones are great - I wore them all the time last winter. Very tempted to get some. Not this month though - I have to pay for car insurance and parking permits and other mundane expenses!

I think that is essentially what swimmers itch is, I’m allergic to the parasite in the water so react badly. For me the swimming benefits out weighed the bites I just wish I could have not worn a wetsuit as I get too warm.

My black Dr Marten Leonores arrived and I’ve kept them for with dresses and skirts.

@Softpebbles yes! It's horrible. Had it all my life. I didn't realise that not everyone gets red and itchy after a bath/ rain/ swimming until I was an adult it's called Aquagenic pruritus. I'm a very allergic person generally. I am allergic to most raw fruit and veg too. DD is the same but her love of swimming means she would push in. I am a wimp

I’m a bit discombobulated about what to wear at the moment. I’d just about got into the mindset for autumn, and now the weather has suddenly become warmer.

Thanks @EllaPaella they are just Levi 501 crop. 100% cotton. I have a pink and an ecru pair that I really like the fit of and became a bit obsessed with the fit. Bought these from Liberty with a voucher ( so 'only ' £80) but then they can up on eBay worn twice for £30. Sent the liberty ones back! I think they are these in photo ( can't do a link). Tried both in at same time and mine are identical. eBay is brilliant for me at the moment I have so many saved searches!

@Sooverthemill they are the same as mine! Yours have a turn up which I like but mine are too cropped for that. Obviously we both have good taste 😉
@Softpebbles nice shacket, I borrowed my friends after a swim to warm up on Friday and it was super cosy. Same one.

I'm grumpy today and thisbloody jumper is the main cause. I didn't notice the mahoosive puffed sleeves before I took the tags off 

Jumper - Tesco. Makes me look / feel huge, but tags are off so it's mine now so I better wear it at least once before shoving it in the charity bag

@20FlowerPower it looks really good to me! Wish we had a tesco that sold clothes nearby ( or even one that sold food)
